Called and rec'd a reservation in minutes, so we were excited to finally try your restaurant. I had the hangar steak which I found to be cooked perfectly, but a little "oversauced?". Fries were great. My wife had the tuna, the size was a little overwhelming to her, but she did finish almost half of it. Fried oysters were really interesting and very enjoyable, and my fried brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and so softly seasoned it really allowed the flavor of the veg. to come through. Had a bottle of pinot noir and enjoyed it, although we had to chill it down as it was a little warm when served. ( I think I might be too fussy about this) Have to say the strawberry rhubarb dessert was the highlight. My mother has a strawberry rhubarb pie recipe that is one of my all time favorites, so this really was enjoyable to me as it was very similar to hers. Nothing like mom's cooking. I've had the pleasure of eating at Striped Bass, Venus, and Alison at Cedars and now Blue Bell. I've always enjoyed your food and hope to be back to Blue Bell soon.
